CVE-2023-50658 | 1 Dvsekhvalnov | 1 Jose2go | 2025-02-14 | 7.5 High |
The jose2go component before 1.6.0 for Go allows attackers to cause a denial of service (CPU consumption) via a large p2c (aka PBES2 Count) value.
CVE-2024-22201 | 4 Debian, Eclipse, Netapp and 1 more | 7 Debian Linux, Jetty, Active Iq Unified Manager and 4 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
Jetty is a Java based web server and servlet engine. An HTTP/2 SSL connection that is established and TCP congested will be leaked when it times out. An attacker can cause many connections to end up in this state, and the server may run out of file descriptors, eventually causing the server to stop accepting new connections from valid clients. The vulnerability is patched in 9.4.54, 10.0.20, 11.0.20, and 12.0.6.
CVE-2023-6337 | 1 Hashicorp | 1 Vault | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
HashiCorp Vault and Vault Enterprise 1.12.0 and newer are vulnerable to a denial of service through memory exhaustion of the host when handling large unauthenticated and authenticated HTTP requests from a client. Vault will attempt to map the request to memory, resulting in the exhaustion of available memory on the host, which may cause Vault to crash. Fixed in Vault 1.15.4, 1.14.8, 1.13.12.
CVE-2024-32660 | 3 Fedoraproject, Freerdp, Redhat | 3 Fedora, Freerdp, Enterprise Linux | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. Prior to version 3.5.1, a malicious server can crash the FreeRDP client by sending invalid huge allocation size. Version 3.5.1 contains a patch for the issue. No known workarounds are available.
CVE-2024-28863 | 2 Node-tar Project, Redhat | 5 Node-tar, Enterprise Linux, Openshift Data Foundation and 2 more | 2025-02-13 | 6.5 Medium |
node-tar is a Tar for Node.js. node-tar prior to version 6.2.1 has no limit on the number of sub-folders created in the folder creation process. An attacker who generates a large number of sub-folders can consume memory on the system running node-tar and even crash the Node.js client within few seconds of running it using a path with too many sub-folders inside. Version 6.2.1 fixes this issue by preventing extraction in excessively deep sub-folders.

CVE-2024-27316 | 4 Apache, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 1 more | 7 Http Server, Fedora, Ontap and 4 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
HTTP/2 incoming headers exceeding the limit are temporarily buffered in nghttp2 in order to generate an informative HTTP 413 response. If a client does not stop sending headers, this leads to memory exhaustion.
CVE-2024-23837 | 2 Fedoraproject, Oisf | 2 Fedora, Libhtp | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
LibHTP is a security-aware parser for the HTTP protocol. Crafted traffic can cause excessive processing time of HTTP headers, leading to denial of service. This issue is addressed in 0.5.46.
CVE-2024-23836 | 2 Fedoraproject, Oisf | 2 Fedora, Suricata | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to versions 6.0.16 and 7.0.3, an attacker can craft traffic to cause Suricata to use far more CPU and memory for processing the traffic than needed, which can lead to extreme slow downs and denial of service. This vulnerability is patched in 6.0.16 or 7.0.3. Workarounds include disabling the affected protocol app-layer parser in the yaml and reducing the `stream.reassembly.depth` value helps reduce the severity of the issue.
CVE-2024-23835 | 2 Fedoraproject, Oisf | 2 Fedora, Suricata | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to version 7.0.3, excessive memory use during pgsql parsing could lead to OOM-related crashes. This vulnerability is patched in 7.0.3. As workaround, users can disable the pgsql app layer parser.
CVE-2024-1975 | 2 Isc, Redhat | 8 Bind, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 5 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
If a server hosts a zone containing a "KEY" Resource Record, or a resolver DNSSEC-validates a "KEY" Resource Record from a DNSSEC-signed domain in cache, a client can exhaust resolver CPU resources by sending a stream of SIG(0) signed requests. This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.0.0 through 9.11.37, 9.16.0 through 9.16.50, 9.18.0 through 9.18.27, 9.19.0 through 9.19.24, 9.9.3-S1 through 9.11.37-S1, 9.16.8-S1 through 9.16.49-S1, and 9.18.11-S1 through 9.18.27-S1.
CVE-2024-1737 | 2 Isc, Redhat | 8 Bind, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 5 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
Resolver caches and authoritative zone databases that hold significant numbers of RRs for the same hostname (of any RTYPE) can suffer from degraded performance as content is being added or updated, and also when handling client queries for this name. This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.11.0 through 9.11.37, 9.16.0 through 9.16.50, 9.18.0 through 9.18.27, 9.19.0 through 9.19.24, 9.11.4-S1 through 9.11.37-S1, 9.16.8-S1 through 9.16.50-S1, and 9.18.11-S1 through 9.18.27-S1.
CVE-2024-0760 | 1 Isc | 1 Bind | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
A malicious client can send many DNS messages over TCP, potentially causing the server to become unstable while the attack is in progress. The server may recover after the attack ceases. Use of ACLs will not mitigate the attack. This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.18.1 through 9.18.27, 9.19.0 through 9.19.24, and 9.18.11-S1 through 9.18.27-S1.
CVE-2023-6516 | 3 Isc, Netapp, Redhat | 4 Bind, Active Iq Unified Manager, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
To keep its cache database efficient, `named` running as a recursive resolver occasionally attempts to clean up the database. It uses several methods, including some that are asynchronous: a small chunk of memory pointing to the cache element that can be cleaned up is first allocated and then queued for later processing. It was discovered that if the resolver is continuously processing query patterns triggering this type of cache-database maintenance, `named` may not be able to handle the cleanup events in a timely manner. This in turn enables the list of queued cleanup events to grow infinitely large over time, allowing the configured `max-cache-size` limit to be significantly exceeded. This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.16.0 through 9.16.45 and 9.16.8-S1 through 9.16.45-S1.
CVE-2023-47746 | 5 Hp, Ibm, Linux and 2 more | 8 Hp-ux, Aix, Db2 and 5 more | 2025-02-13 | 5.3 Medium |
IBM Db2 for Linux, UNIX and Windows (includes Db2 Connect Server) 10.5, 11.1, and 11.5 could allow an authenticated user with CONNECT privileges to cause a denial of service using a specially crafted query. IBM X-Force ID: 272644.
CVE-2023-42504 | 1 Apache | 1 Superset | 2025-02-13 | 5.8 Medium |
An authenticated malicious user could initiate multiple concurrent requests, each requesting multiple dashboard exports, leading to a possible denial of service. This issue affects Apache Superset: before 3.0.0
CVE-2023-42457 | 1 Plone | 1 Rest | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
plone.rest allows users to use HTTP verbs such as GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, etc. in Plone. Starting in the 2.x branch and prior to versions 2.0.1 and 3.0.1, when the `++api++` traverser is accidentally used multiple times in a url, handling it takes increasingly longer, making the server less responsive. Patches are available in `plone.rest` 2.0.1 and 3.0.1. Series 1.x is not affected. As a workaround, one may redirect `/++api++/++api++` to `/++api++` in one's frontend web server (nginx, Apache).
