CVE-2006-1014 | 1 Php | 1 Php | 2025-04-03 | N/A |
Argument injection vulnerability in certain PHP 4.x and 5.x applications, when used with sendmail and when accepting remote input for the additional_parameters argument to the mb_send_mail function, allows context-dependent attackers to read and create arbitrary files by providing extra -C and -X arguments to sendmail. NOTE: it could be argued that this is a class of technology-specific vulnerability, instead of a particular instance; if so, then this should not be included in CVE.
CVE-2006-1990 | 2 Php, Redhat | 3 Php, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Stronghold | 2025-04-03 | N/A |
Integer overflow in the wordwrap function in string.c in PHP 4.4.2 and 5.1.2 might allow context-dependent attackers to execute arbitrary code via certain long arguments that cause a small buffer to be allocated, which triggers a heap-based buffer overflow in a memcpy function call, a different vulnerability than CVE-2002-1396.
CVE-2006-3017 | 2 Php, Redhat | 3 Php, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Stronghold | 2025-04-03 | N/A |
zend_hash_del_key_or_index in zend_hash.c in PHP before 4.4.3 and 5.x before 5.1.3 can cause zend_hash_del to delete the wrong element, which prevents a variable from being unset even when the PHP unset function is called, which might cause the variable's value to be used in security-relevant operations.
CVE-2006-4020 | 2 Php, Redhat | 4 Php, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Application Stack and 1 more | 2025-04-03 | N/A |
scanf.c in PHP 5.1.4 and earlier, and 4.4.3 and earlier, allows context-dependent attackers to execute arbitrary code via a sscanf PHP function call that performs argument swapping, which increments an index past the end of an array and triggers a buffer over-read.
CVE-2006-4484 | 2 Php, Redhat | 3 Php, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Application Stack | 2025-04-03 | N/A |
Buffer overflow in the LWZReadByte_ function in ext/gd/libgd/gd_gif_in.c in the GD extension in PHP before 5.1.5 allows remote attackers to have an unknown impact via a GIF file with input_code_size greater than MAX_LWZ_BITS, which triggers an overflow when initializing the table array.
CVE-2000-0967 | 1 Php | 1 Php | 2025-04-03 | N/A |
PHP 3 and 4 do not properly cleanse user-injected format strings, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands by triggering error messages that are improperly written to the error logs.
CVE-2001-0108 | 3 Mandrakesoft, Php, Redhat | 3 Mandrake Linux, Php, Linux | 2025-04-03 | N/A |
PHP Apache module 4.0.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to bypass .htaccess access restrictions via a malformed HTTP request on an unrestricted page that causes PHP to use those access controls on the next page that is requested.
CVE-2002-0985 | 3 Openpkg, Php, Redhat | 6 Openpkg, Php, Enterprise Linux and 3 more | 2025-04-03 | N/A |
Argument injection vulnerability in the mail function for PHP 4.x to 4.2.2 may allow attackers to bypass safe mode restrictions and modify command line arguments to the MTA (e.g. sendmail) in the 5th argument to mail(), altering MTA behavior and possibly executing commands.
CVE-2002-1396 | 2 Php, Redhat | 2 Php, Linux | 2025-04-03 | N/A |
Heap-based buffer overflow in the wordwrap function in PHP after 4.1.2 and before 4.3.0 may allow attackers to cause a denial of service or execute arbitrary code.
CVE-2002-1954 | 1 Php | 1 Php | 2025-04-03 | N/A |
Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the phpinfo function in PHP 4.2.3 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the query string argument, as demonstrated using soinfo.php.
CVE-2002-2309 | 1 Php | 1 Php | 2025-04-03 | N/A |
php.exe in PHP 3.0 through 4.2.2, when running on Apache, does not terminate properly, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service via a direct request without arguments.
CVE-2003-0249 | 1 Php | 1 Php | 2025-04-03 | N/A |
PHP treats unknown methods such as "PoSt" as a GET request, which could allow attackers to intended access restrictions if PHP is running on a server that passes on all methods, such as Apache httpd 2.0, as demonstrated using a Limit directive. NOTE: this issue has been disputed by the Apache security team, saying "It is by design that PHP allows scripts to process any request method. A script which does not explicitly verify the request method will hence be processed as normal for arbitrary methods. It is therefore expected behaviour that one cannot implement per-method access control using the Apache configuration alone, which is the assumption made in this report.
CVE-2003-0442 | 2 Php, Redhat | 2 Php, Linux | 2025-04-03 | N/A |
Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the transparent SID support capability for PHP before 4.3.2 (session.use_trans_sid) allows remote attackers to insert arbitrary script via the PHPSESSID parameter.
CVE-2024-4577 | 4 Fedoraproject, Microsoft, Php and 1 more | 4 Fedora, Windows, Php and 1 more | 2025-03-28 | 9.8 Critical |
In PHP versions 8.1.* before 8.1.29, 8.2.* before 8.2.20, 8.3.* before 8.3.8, when using Apache and PHP-CGI on Windows, if the system is set up to use certain code pages, Windows may use "Best-Fit" behavior to replace characters in command line given to Win32 API functions. PHP CGI module may misinterpret those characters as PHP options, which may allow a malicious user to pass options to PHP binary being run, and thus reveal the source code of scripts, run arbitrary PHP code on the server, etc.
CVE-2024-2408 | 3 Fedoraproject, Php, Redhat | 3 Fedora, Php, Enterprise Linux | 2025-03-21 | 5.9 Medium |
The openssl_private_decrypt function in PHP, when using PKCS1 padding (OPENSSL_PKCS1_PADDING, which is the default), is vulnerable to the Marvin Attack unless it is used with an OpenSSL version that includes the changes from this pull request: https://github.com/openssl/openssl/pull/13817 (rsa_pkcs1_implicit_rejection). These changes are part of OpenSSL 3.2 and have also been backported to stable versions of various Linux distributions, as well as to the PHP builds provided for Windows since the previous release. All distributors and builders should ensure that this version is used to prevent PHP from being vulnerable. PHP Windows builds for the versions 8.1.29, 8.2.20 and 8.3.8 and above include OpenSSL patches that fix the vulnerability.
CVE-2022-4900 | 2 Php, Redhat | 4 Php, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Software Collections and 1 more | 2025-03-20 | 6.2 Medium |
A vulnerability was found in PHP where setting the environment variable PHP_CLI_SERVER_WORKERS to a large value leads to a heap buffer overflow.
CVE-2024-8927 | 3 Php, Php-fpm, Redhat | 3 Php, Php-fpm, Enterprise Linux | 2025-03-18 | 7.5 High |
In PHP versions 8.1.* before 8.1.30, 8.2.* before 8.2.24, 8.3.* before 8.3.12, HTTP_REDIRECT_STATUS variable is used to check whether or not CGI binary is being run by the HTTP server. However, in certain scenarios, the content of this variable can be controlled by the request submitter via HTTP headers, which can lead to cgi.force_redirect option not being correctly applied. In certain configurations this may lead to arbitrary file inclusion in PHP.
CVE-2023-0662 | 2 Php, Redhat | 2 Php, Enterprise Linux | 2025-03-18 | 7.5 High |
In PHP 8.0.X before 8.0.28, 8.1.X before 8.1.16 and 8.2.X before 8.2.3, excessive number of parts in HTTP form upload can cause high resource consumption and excessive number of log entries. This can cause denial of service on the affected server by exhausting CPU resources or disk space.
CVE-2023-0568 | 2 Php, Redhat | 2 Php, Enterprise Linux | 2025-03-18 | 7.5 High |
In PHP 8.0.X before 8.0.28, 8.1.X before 8.1.16 and 8.2.X before 8.2.3, core path resolution function allocate buffer one byte too small. When resolving paths with lengths close to system MAXPATHLEN setting, this may lead to the byte after the allocated buffer being overwritten with NUL value, which might lead to unauthorized data access or modification.
CVE-2024-8925 | 3 Php, Php-fpm, Redhat | 3 Php, Php-fpm, Enterprise Linux | 2025-03-17 | 3.1 Low |
In PHP versions 8.1.* before 8.1.30, 8.2.* before 8.2.24, 8.3.* before 8.3.12, erroneous parsing of multipart form data contained in an HTTP POST request could lead to legitimate data not being processed. This could lead to malicious attacker able to control part of the submitted data being able to exclude portion of other data, potentially leading to erroneous application behavior. |
