| musl libc 0.9.13 through 1.2.5 before 1.2.6 has an out-of-bounds write vulnerability when an attacker can trigger iconv conversion of untrusted EUC-KR text to UTF-8. | ||||
| CVE-2023-52356 | 2 Libtiff, Redhat | 4 Libtiff, Ai Inference Server, Discovery and 1 more | 2025-12-10 | 7.5 High |
| A segment fault (SEGV) flaw was found in libtiff that could be triggered by passing a crafted tiff file to the TIFFReadRGBATileExt() API. This flaw allows a remote attacker to cause a heap-buffer overflow, leading to a denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2023-52355 | 2 Libtiff, Redhat | 4 Libtiff, Ai Inference Server, Discovery and 1 more | 2025-12-10 | 7.5 High |
| An out-of-memory flaw was found in libtiff that could be triggered by passing a crafted tiff file to the TIFFRasterScanlineSize64() API. This flaw allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service via a crafted input with a size smaller than 379 KB. | ||||
| CVE-2023-53331 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-12-10 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pstore/ram: Check start of empty przs during init After commit 30696378f68a ("pstore/ram: Do not treat empty buffers as valid"), initialization would assume a prz was valid after seeing that the buffer_size is zero (regardless of the buffer start position). This unchecked start value means it could be outside the bounds of the buffer, leading to future access panics when written to: sysdump_panic_event+0x3b4/0x5b8 atomic_notifier_call_chain+0x54/0x90 panic+0x1c8/0x42c die+0x29c/0x2a8 die_kernel_fault+0x68/0x78 __do_kernel_fault+0x1c4/0x1e0 do_bad_area+0x40/0x100 do_translation_fault+0x68/0x80 do_mem_abort+0x68/0xf8 el1_da+0x1c/0xc0 __raw_writeb+0x38/0x174 __memcpy_toio+0x40/0xac persistent_ram_update+0x44/0x12c persistent_ram_write+0x1a8/0x1b8 ramoops_pstore_write+0x198/0x1e8 pstore_console_write+0x94/0xe0 ... To avoid this, also check if the prz start is 0 during the initialization phase. If not, the next prz sanity check case will discover it (start > size) and zap the buffer back to a sane state. | CVE-2021-47642 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-12-10 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: video: fbdev: nvidiafb: Use strscpy() to prevent buffer overflow Coverity complains of a possible buffer overflow. However, given the 'static' scope of nvidia_setup_i2c_bus() it looks like that can't happen after examiniing the call sites. CID 19036 (#1 of 1): Copy into fixed size buffer (STRING_OVERFLOW) 1. fixed_size_dest: You might overrun the 48-character fixed-size string chan->adapter.name by copying name without checking the length. 2. parameter_as_source: Note: This defect has an elevated risk because the source argument is a parameter of the current function. 89 strcpy(chan->adapter.name, name); Fix this warning by using strscpy() which will silence the warning and prevent any future buffer overflows should the names used to identify the channel become much longer. | ||||

Problem seems to be that strings for cluster stack and cluster name are not guaranteed to be null terminated in the disk representation, while strlcpy assumes that the source string is always null terminated. | CVE-2021-47203 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-12-10 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: lpfc: Fix list_add() corruption in lpfc_drain_txq() When parsing the txq list in lpfc_drain_txq(), the driver attempts to pass the requests to the adapter. If such an attempt fails, a local "fail_msg" string is set and a log message output. The job is then added to a completions list for cancellation. Processing of any further jobs from the txq list continues, but since "fail_msg" remains set, jobs are added to the completions list regardless of whether a wqe was passed to the adapter. If successfully added to txcmplq, jobs are added to both lists resulting in list corruption. Fix by clearing the fail_msg string after adding a job to the completions list. This stops the subsequent jobs from being added to the completions list unless they had an appropriate failure. | ||||
