CVE-2023-5366 | 2 Openvswitch, Redhat | 7 Openvswitch, Enterprise Linux, Fast Datapath and 4 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.1 High |
A flaw was found in Open vSwitch that allows ICMPv6 Neighbor Advertisement packets between virtual machines to bypass OpenFlow rules. This issue may allow a local attacker to create specially crafted packets with a modified or spoofed target IP address field that can redirect ICMPv6 traffic to arbitrary IP addresses.
CVE-2024-5037 | 1 Redhat | 4 Logging, Openshift, Openshift Container Platform and 1 more | 2025-02-06 | 7.5 High |
A flaw was found in OpenShift's Telemeter. If certain conditions are in place, an attacker can use a forged token to bypass the issue ("iss") check during JSON web token (JWT) authentication.
CVE-2024-4629 | 1 Redhat | 12 Build Keycloak, Build Of Keycloak, Enterprise Linux and 9 more | 2025-01-28 | 6.5 Medium |
A vulnerability was found in Keycloak. This flaw allows attackers to bypass brute force protection by exploiting the timing of login attempts. By initiating multiple login requests simultaneously, attackers can exceed the configured limits for failed attempts before the system locks them out. This timing loophole enables attackers to make more guesses at passwords than intended, potentially compromising account security on affected systems.
CVE-2024-50312 | 1 Redhat | 2 Openshift, Openshift Container Platform | 2025-01-21 | 5.3 Medium |
A vulnerability was found in GraphQL due to improper access controls on the GraphQL introspection query. This flaw allows unauthorized users to retrieve a comprehensive list of available queries and mutations. Exposure to this flaw increases the attack surface, as it can facilitate the discovery of flaws or errors specific to the application's GraphQL implementation.
CVE-2019-9514 | 13 Apache, Apple, Canonical and 10 more | 44 Traffic Server, Mac Os X, Swiftnio and 41 more | 2025-01-14 | 7.5 High |
Some HTTP/2 implementations are vulnerable to a reset flood, potentially leading to a denial of service. The attacker opens a number of streams and sends an invalid request over each stream that should solicit a stream of RST_STREAM frames from the peer. Depending on how the peer queues the RST_STREAM frames, this can consume excess memory, CPU, or both.
CVE-2019-9515 | 12 Apache, Apple, Canonical and 9 more | 36 Traffic Server, Mac Os X, Swiftnio and 33 more | 2025-01-14 | 7.5 High |
Some HTTP/2 implementations are vulnerable to a settings flood, potentially leading to a denial of service. The attacker sends a stream of SETTINGS frames to the peer. Since the RFC requires that the peer reply with one acknowledgement per SETTINGS frame, an empty SETTINGS frame is almost equivalent in behavior to a ping. Depending on how efficiently this data is queued, this can consume excess CPU, memory, or both.
CVE-2023-2253 | 1 Redhat | 5 Openshift, Openshift Api Data Protection, Openshift Api For Data Protection and 2 more | 2025-01-07 | 6.5 Medium |
A flaw was found in the `/v2/_catalog` endpoint in distribution/distribution, which accepts a parameter to control the maximum number of records returned (query string: `n`). This vulnerability allows a malicious user to submit an unreasonably large value for `n,` causing the allocation of a massive string array, possibly causing a denial of service through excessive use of memory.
CVE-2024-3056 | 3 Fedoraproject, Podman Project, Redhat | 5 Fedora, Podman, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2024-12-27 | 7.7 High |
A flaw was found in Podman. This issue may allow an attacker to create a specially crafted container that, when configured to share the same IPC with at least one other container, can create a large number of IPC resources in /dev/shm. The malicious container will continue to exhaust resources until it is out-of-memory (OOM) killed. While the malicious container's cgroup will be removed, the IPC resources it created are not. Those resources are tied to the IPC namespace that will not be removed until all containers using it are stopped, and one non-malicious container is holding the namespace open. The malicious container is restarted, either automatically or by attacker control, repeating the process and increasing the amount of memory consumed. With a container configured to restart always, such as `podman run --restart=always`, this can result in a memory-based denial of service of the system.
CVE-2024-5154 | 2 Kubernetes, Redhat | 4 Cri-o, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more | 2024-12-11 | 8.1 High |
A flaw was found in cri-o. A malicious container can create a symbolic link to arbitrary files on the host via directory traversal (“../“). This flaw allows the container to read and write to arbitrary files on the host system.
CVE-2023-27561 | 3 Debian, Linuxfoundation, Redhat | 5 Debian Linux, Runc, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2024-12-06 | 7 High |
runc through 1.1.4 has Incorrect Access Control leading to Escalation of Privileges, related to libcontainer/rootfs_linux.go. To exploit this, an attacker must be able to spawn two containers with custom volume-mount configurations, and be able to run custom images. NOTE: this issue exists because of a CVE-2019-19921 regression.
CVE-2024-7079 | 1 Redhat | 2 Openshift, Openshift Container Platform | 2024-12-03 | 6.5 Medium |
A flaw was found in the Openshift console. The /API/helm/verify endpoint is tasked to fetch and verify the installation of a Helm chart from a URI that is remote HTTP/HTTPS or local. Access to this endpoint is gated by the authHandlerWithUser() middleware function. Contrary to its name, this middleware function does not verify the validity of the user's credentials. As a result, unauthenticated users can access this endpoint.
CVE-2023-6476 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Openshift Container Platform | 2024-11-24 | 6.5 Medium |
A flaw was found in CRI-O that involves an experimental annotation leading to a container being unconfined. This may allow a pod to specify and get any amount of memory/cpu, circumventing the kubernetes scheduler and potentially resulting in a denial of service in the node.
CVE-2023-6134 | 1 Redhat | 9 Build Keycloak, Enterprise Linux, Keycloak and 6 more | 2024-11-23 | 4.6 Medium |
A flaw was found in Keycloak that prevents certain schemes in redirects, but permits them if a wildcard is appended to the token. This issue could allow an attacker to submit a specially crafted request leading to cross-site scripting (XSS) or further attacks. This flaw is the result of an incomplete fix for CVE-2020-10748.
CVE-2023-4853 | 2 Quarkus, Redhat | 21 Quarkus, Build Of Optaplanner, Build Of Quarkus and 18 more | 2024-11-23 | 8.1 High |
A flaw was found in Quarkus where HTTP security policies are not sanitizing certain character permutations correctly when accepting requests, resulting in incorrect evaluation of permissions. This issue could allow an attacker to bypass the security policy altogether, resulting in unauthorized endpoint access and possibly a denial of service. |
