| CVE-2021-3737 | 6 Canonical, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 3 more | 18 Ubuntu Linux, Fedora, Hci and 15 more | 2025-11-03 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in python. An improperly handled HTTP response in the HTTP client code of python may allow a remote attacker, who controls the HTTP server, to make the client script enter an infinite loop, consuming CPU time. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability. | ||||
| CVE-2021-3733 | 4 Fedoraproject, Netapp, Python and 1 more | 21 Extra Packages For Enterprise Linux, Fedora, Hci Compute Node Firmware and 18 more | 2025-11-03 | 6.5 Medium |
| There's a flaw in urllib's AbstractBasicAuthHandler class. An attacker who controls a malicious HTTP server that an HTTP client (such as web browser) connects to, could trigger a Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDOS) during an authentication request with a specially crafted payload that is sent by the server to the client. The greatest threat that this flaw poses is to application availability. | ||||
| CVE-2021-3669 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Ibm and 2 more | 24 Debian Linux, Fedora, Spectrum Copy Data Management and 21 more | 2025-11-03 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the Linux kernel. Measuring usage of the shared memory does not scale with large shared memory segment counts which could lead to resource exhaustion and DoS. | ||||
| CVE-2021-36976 | 4 Apple, Fedoraproject, Libarchive and 1 more | 7 Ipados, Iphone Os, Macos and 4 more | 2025-11-03 | 6.5 Medium |
| libarchive 3.4.1 through 3.5.1 has a use-after-free in copy_string (called from do_uncompress_block and process_block). | ||||
| CVE-2021-36770 | 3 Fedoraproject, P5-encode Project, Perl | 3 Fedora, P5-encode, Perl | 2025-11-03 | 7.8 High |
| Encode.pm, as distributed in Perl through 5.34.0, allows local users to gain privileges via a Trojan horse Encode::ConfigLocal library (in the current working directory) that preempts dynamic module loading. Exploitation requires an unusual configuration, and certain 2021 versions of Encode.pm (3.05 through 3.11). This issue occurs because the || operator evaluates @INC in a scalar context, and thus @INC has only an integer value. | ||||
| CVE-2021-36087 | 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Selinux Project | 3 Fedora, Enterprise Linux, Selinux | 2025-11-03 | 3.3 Low |
| The CIL compiler in SELinux 3.2 has a heap-based buffer over-read in ebitmap_match_any (called indirectly from cil_check_neverallow). This occurs because there is sometimes a lack of checks for invalid statements in an optional block. | ||||
| CVE-2021-36086 | 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Selinux Project | 3 Fedora, Enterprise Linux, Selinux | 2025-11-03 | 3.3 Low |
| The CIL compiler in SELinux 3.2 has a use-after-free in cil_reset_classpermission (called from cil_reset_classperms_set and cil_reset_classperms_list). | ||||
| CVE-2021-36085 | 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Selinux Project | 3 Fedora, Enterprise Linux, Selinux | 2025-11-03 | 3.3 Low |
| The CIL compiler in SELinux 3.2 has a use-after-free in __cil_verify_classperms (called from __verify_map_perm_classperms and hashtab_map). | ||||
| CVE-2021-36084 | 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Selinux Project | 3 Fedora, Enterprise Linux, Selinux | 2025-11-03 | 3.3 Low |
| The CIL compiler in SELinux 3.2 has a use-after-free in __cil_verify_classperms (called from __cil_verify_classpermission and __cil_pre_verify_helper). | ||||
| CVE-2021-23358 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Redhat and 2 more | 6 Debian Linux, Fedora, Acm and 3 more | 2025-11-03 | 3.3 Low |
| The package underscore from 1.13.0-0 and before 1.13.0-2, from 1.3.2 and before 1.12.1 are vulnerable to Arbitrary Code Injection via the template function, particularly when a variable property is passed as an argument as it is not sanitized. | ||||
| CVE-2020-16156 | 3 Fedoraproject, Perl, Redhat | 3 Fedora, Comprehensive Perl Archive Network, Enterprise Linux | 2025-11-03 | 7.8 High |
| CPAN 2.28 allows Signature Verification Bypass. | ||||
| CVE-2023-27043 | 4 Fedoraproject, Netapp, Python and 1 more | 7 Fedora, Active Iq Unified Manager, Ontap Select Deploy Administration Utility and 4 more | 2025-11-03 | 5.3 Medium |
| The email module of Python through 3.11.3 incorrectly parses e-mail addresses that contain a special character. The wrong portion of an RFC2822 header is identified as the value of the addr-spec. In some applications, an attacker can bypass a protection mechanism in which application access is granted only after verifying receipt of e-mail to a specific domain (e.g., only @company.example.com addresses may be used for signup). This occurs in email/_parseaddr.py in recent versions of Python. | ||||
| CVE-2023-24329 | 4 Fedoraproject, Netapp, Python and 1 more | 14 Fedora, Active Iq Unified Manager, Management Services For Element Software and 11 more | 2025-11-03 | 7.5 High |
| An issue in the urllib.parse component of Python before 3.11.4 allows attackers to bypass blocklisting methods by supplying a URL that starts with blank characters. | ||||
| CVE-2023-1981 | 3 Avahi, Fedoraproject, Redhat | 3 Avahi, Fedora, Enterprise Linux | 2025-11-03 | 5.5 Medium |
| A vulnerability was found in the avahi library. This flaw allows an unprivileged user to make a dbus call, causing the avahi daemon to crash. | ||||
| CVE-2022-45061 | 4 Fedoraproject, Netapp, Python and 1 more | 13 Fedora, Active Iq Unified Manager, Bootstrap Os and 10 more | 2025-11-03 | 7.5 High |
| An issue was discovered in Python before 3.11.1. An unnecessary quadratic algorithm exists in one path when processing some inputs to the IDNA (RFC 3490) decoder, such that a crafted, unreasonably long name being presented to the decoder could lead to a CPU denial of service. Hostnames are often supplied by remote servers that could be controlled by a malicious actor; in such a scenario, they could trigger excessive CPU consumption on the client attempting to make use of an attacker-supplied supposed hostname. For example, the attack payload could be placed in the Location header of an HTTP response with status code 302. A fix is planned in 3.11.1, 3.10.9, 3.9.16, 3.8.16, and 3.7.16. | ||||
| CVE-2022-42919 | 3 Fedoraproject, Python, Redhat | 4 Fedora, Python, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2025-11-03 | 7.8 High |
| Python 3.9.x before 3.9.16 and 3.10.x before 3.10.9 on Linux allows local privilege escalation in a non-default configuration. The Python multiprocessing library, when used with the forkserver start method on Linux, allows pickles to be deserialized from any user in the same machine local network namespace, which in many system configurations means any user on the same machine. Pickles can execute arbitrary code. Thus, this allows for local user privilege escalation to the user that any forkserver process is running as. Setting multiprocessing.util.abstract_sockets_supported to False is a workaround. The forkserver start method for multiprocessing is not the default start method. This issue is Linux specific because only Linux supports abstract namespace sockets. CPython before 3.9 does not make use of Linux abstract namespace sockets by default. Support for users manually specifying an abstract namespace socket was added as a bugfix in 3.7.8 and 3.8.3, but users would need to make specific uncommon API calls in order to do that in CPython before 3.9. | ||||
| CVE-2022-36227 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Libarchive and 2 more | 6 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libarchive and 3 more | 2025-11-03 | 9.8 Critical |
| In libarchive before 3.6.2, the software does not check for an error after calling calloc function that can return with a NULL pointer if the function fails, which leads to a resultant NULL pointer dereference. NOTE: the discoverer cites this CWE-476 remark but third parties dispute the code-execution impact: "In rare circumstances, when NULL is equivalent to the 0x0 memory address and privileged code can access it, then writing or reading memory is possible, which may lead to code execution." | ||||
| CVE-2022-26280 | 3 Fedoraproject, Libarchive, Redhat | 3 Fedora, Libarchive, Enterprise Linux | 2025-11-03 | 6.5 Medium |
| Libarchive v3.6.0 was discovered to contain an out-of-bounds read via the component zipx_lzma_alone_init. | ||||
